reform. We are interested in getting your input on some of the key proposed reforms. Please

Some of the health care reform bills being discussed seek to limit training of specialists with the goal of pushing more doctors into general practices. What kind of impact do you think limiting specialists will have on patient access to care?

One of the bills being discussed seeks to limit the services that a private practice is allowed to provide. Services such as laboratory, X-ray, physical therapy, and imaging services would have to be performed elsewhere, affecting access, quality and continuity of care. Do you believe limiting physicians’ ability to provide these services in their own office and relying on hospitals will negatively impact patients’ access to timely care?
